Your Comments : Ali's claim wrong: Nacewa

His SILENCE on the Murder and Torture of Fijian Citizens make people wonder about what is the going on in his head.

The Illegal THUGG Directives that supposedly bear his signature should be checked and re-checked by an INDEPENDANT handwriting expert.

Franky the FOOL has lied about everything that has happened since this COUP!

The whole world has branded FRANKY THE FOOL a total and complete LYER!

It is not so hard to believe that FRANKY the FOOL forged the presidents signature.

I mean this is the same THUGG GANGSTER that has presided over the MURDER and TORUTRE of FIJIANS, the systematic Destruction of the Economy and the Betrayal of the Sugar industry!

What a little forgery? HUH?

Downtown avenue sees recent metamorphosis

There's a makeover happening on Kirk Avenue in downtown Roanoke.

A lineup of three buildings, from 16 Kirk Ave. to 26 Kirk Ave., is being renovated for office space, apartments or retail locations. Most of these spaces formerly housed retailers, including Seasons & Occasions Catering, Urban Cottage, a furniture store, and a beauty salon, Tangles. These businesses have moved or shut down.

Ed Walker, a local businessman involved in downtown rehabilitation, owns several of these spaces.

Already, a law firm, Whitlow & Young Attorneys, has moved into a renovated location at 26 Kirk Ave.

Other spots lining that street are in the midst of being prepared for offices and living quarters, including two 900-square-foot apartments, Walker said.

Housing Update - Answering questions about mock utility billing

The Jan. 3 residents' meeting was Fort Leavenworth Frontier Heritage Communities' first public forum for discussing the utilities program. The meeting was just a step in the continuing education of not only the mock billing process, but the overall benefits of the energy conservation program. Everyone has a responsibility to be conservative with the amount of energy used.In 1996, Congress passed legislation that allowed the privatization of family housing on military instillations. Service members' allotted Basic Allowance for Housing helps fund these projects. In 1998, the Office of the Secretary of Defense established that service members in privatized housing will be responsible for their utility consumption. The service member's BAH not only covers their rental amount, but also reasonable utility consumption.
